If you would have told me back in December of 2019 that by the end of March 2020, most of the world would be in quarantine and that a deadly virus spreading the globe, killing thousands and sickening millions was the cause, I'd likely had looked at you with a squint of disbelief and amusement in my eye thinking you'd just binged some sci-fi series on Netflix and you needed to chill. But that's exactly what happened, and the world was kicked in the teeth. COVID Craziness has affected us all. But not only did the coronavirus pandemic strike, so did the Black Lives Matter pandemic hit, and it exposed severe injustices no one can ignore. Both these pandemics and much more global unsettlement has taken its toll on most of us and the world is in a state of anxiety.
Before COVID-19 struck, I'd been working on "Inspire Us" with the intent of presenting speakers from all walks of life to get on-stage and present 'TED-Talk-like' keynotes, inspiring us and encouraging us to be the best we can be, live the life we so richly deserve to live, and beat anxiety and depression. But because of COVID-19, I had to reassess. No more on-stage stuff for awhile, so I decided to go virtual. Now I'll invite my speakers to present their stories over video and I'll make them visible on my YouTube page for you to access whenever you wish. I'm also working on an Inspire Us podcast. I'll keep you posted. Since I'm not that teck savvy, bare with me. I'll get there!
Thanks for joining us on this journey to a happier, healthier life. Now, more than ever in our lifetimes, we need to be inspired, and that's exactly what I plan to do right here for you. Please share and feel free to email us with your thoughts on what you'd like to see here. We're going to get through this - together.
